Application Features

1. Excellent mechanical properties: ABS has a balance between high rigidity (Young's modulus 2.2 GPa) and excellent impact resistance, and maintains toughness even at low temperatures (-40ºC).
  - Wear-resistant and scratch-resistant: The surface hardness is high, and the dimensional stability is good, making it suitable for manufacturing components that bear mechanical stress such as gears and bearings.
2. Good thermal and chemical stability:
  - Wide temperature resistance range: The performance is stable within the range of -40~100ºC. The ordinary ABS can withstand about 80ºC, and the high-temperature resistant type can reach 97ºC.
3. Excellent processing adaptability:
  - Easy to mold: The styrene component makes it have good melt flowability, suitable for injection molding, extrusion, blow molding and other processes, with a low shrinkage rate (about 0.4-0.7%).
  - Strong secondary processing ability: The surface is easy to electroplate, spray paint, and bond, and can be made into special types such as electroplated grade and transparent grade.
4. Multi-functional application characteristics:
  - Electrical insulation: Styrene improves dielectric properties and is suitable for electronic and electrical enclosures (such as televisions and refrigerators).
  - Environmentally friendly and recyclable: Non-toxic and odorless, recyclable, but care should be taken to control pollution during incineration.
