PA12 powder is a kind of high-performance long-chain nylon, which is formed by polycondensation of laurolactam monomer. It has excellent mechanical properties, high temperature resistance and chemical stability.
Chemical structure: PA12 (poly-dodecalactam) is a semi-crystalline and crystalline thermoplastic material, which is prepared from butadiene by ring-opening polymerization of cyclododecatriene.
Performance characteristics: low density (about 1.04 g/cm), high melting point (about 215°C), low water absorption (balanced water absorption of 0.7%), high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, and good combination with metals.
